Do you offer fully-installed wedding flowers?

No, I am not a florist and so do not have the staff to create the arrangements for a wedding. If you are looking for a wedding florist who uses my flowers in their designs, pop me a message and I will recommend someone for you.

What times of year can you provide wedding flowers?

As British flowers are seasonal, I can only offer flowers at certain times of the year; April through to September, depending on the weather!

What are your wedding flower workshops like?

The workshops are informal and fun; I provide all the materials and instruction needed to create your beautiful wedding flowers, with plenty of support and a glass of prosecco for all involved! This leads to a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can contribute to arranging your dream wedding flowers.

Where do you source the flowers for weddings from?

I aim for all of the flowers to be grown by me on my flower farm in Kent. Sometimes, due to weather, I may have to supplement these with wholesale flowers; this would be included in the price you pay.

How do your flowers compare in price to a tradational wedding florist?

Much of the cost of wedding flowers is the labour required to put the arrangements together. As this is done by your friends and family, it can help to keep the costs below those of a wedding florist.

How long does the workshop take and how many people can attend?

This will depend on what you choose and how many arrangements you plan to have, but usually I suggest 2 hours with about 5 to 8 people. This is something we can discuss during planning.

When do you offer flower subscriptions?

In the growing season, collection dates are every 2 weeks, on a Friday afternoon. Check the subscriptions page for the dates.

If I have a subscription for 5 bouquets, which dates do I collect the flowers?

You can choose the dates which are convenient to you - you can either do this in advance or on an ad hoc basis (so long as I have at least 3 days' notice).

What if I am unable to collect flowers for one of the dates (e.g. I am on holiday).

Not a problem - you can switch to another date (if available) or collect 2 bouquets on another Friday.

Can I transfer my bouquets to next year?

Unfortunately, we are only able to transfer to another date in the same season.

Do you do one-off bouquets?

Yes, on a limited basis. Our luxury arrangments make a spectacular gift and are available at any time during the flower season. Otherwise, you can order one-off bouquets on selected Fridays. These are collected from the farm.

Can I choose what colours/flowers are used in my bouquet?

The bouquets are made with the best of the flower patch, and this may not always match what you are hoping for - the weather can be fickle! However, get in touch to request anything in particular (at least a few days before the order is due) and I will do my best.

Do you offer funeral arrangements?

Yes, this is something I can do, but bear in mind that, as I do not use floral foam, this would not be a traditional-style arrangement. Please get in touch to discuss how I can help.

How do collections work?

On the relevant Friday, you can arrive at the farm between 2 and 6PM to collect your flowers. You are welcome to explore the farm on the bridlepaths that cross through it (there are some beautiful walks) and I would love to show you my flower patch also.

Can I pick my own flowers?

At the moment, we do not offer pick-your-own. If you have a particular colour scheme in mind that you would prefer for your flowers, let me know a few days in advance (although this can't be guaranteed).

Where are your workshops held?

Our workshops are based at Hoopers Farm. The exact location (barn, flower field, event space) will depend on the activity, so check the information e-mail carefully.

Do you offer workshops for private groups?

Yes, this is something I can do and is perfect for groups of friends (e.g. for a hen party). I can hold events at my venue or at a location that suits you. Get in touch to discuss what you are looking for.

Do I need to bring anything for the workshops?

Nothing special - I provide tools and equipment for the workshops (although you are welcome to bring your favourite secateurs and gardening gloves). Do bear in mind that some of the workshops might involve being outside, so bringing suitable outdoor clothing and boots is a good idea. If you are unsure, check the information e-mail that I send out a few days prior to the course.

Do you offer wholesale flowers?
