About Me
My name is Jess and I have been growing flowers on my family farm since 2021. I grow flowers using sustainable methods:-
- Using "no-dig" production methods.
- Using peat-free (mainly home-made) compost
- Using no pesticides.
- Planting pollinator-friendly varieties
- Avoiding single-use plastic, particularly when growing.
- Only using compostable or recyclable packaging.
I am a part-time teacher at a local school and combine my passion for flowers with my teaching experience to lead courses on flower-arranging and wreath-making. These are held at Hoopers Farm, my family's farm, in our gorgeous workshop location.
Having grown and arranged flowers for my own wedding, I am pleased to provide support for couples who want to do their own flowers but don't know where to start.
