For many florists, buying flowers locally can represent a change in how they have worked for years. I understand this and hope to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible.

I know it is important to you, as a florist, that the flowers you arrange with represent your values.
Flowers from British farms have many advantages for a florist:-
No pesticide residues so reduced skin irritation.
Deliciously scented blooms rather than the somewhat sterile flowers that can be imported.
Agile ordering from flower farmers. When you order from me, I am often picking specifically for you so can usually be more flexible if you need to make last minute changes to the order.
Wonky stems grown in nature. Although this may seem like a downside, recent trends in floristry are much more naturalistic and your customers will love the individualism of your displays.
Exciting varieties that cannot be imported due to short vase lives.
Unparalled freshness (goes without saying!)
How I work with florists
Being seasonal, I won't always have the exact blooms that you are after, but I grow a wide range of different varieties and colour so will be able to find something to suit your design brief.
I work by the stem (rather than by the bucket) with florists as I find this gives clarity about what to expect.
I suggest that you get in touch about 2 weeks before your order to check availability. If I can't help you, I can point you towards some amazing local growers.
A few days before your event, I will send you an availaibility list. You complete this and return to me in time for me to cut your order. Orders will be stored in our cool room until collection. I can deliver locally or there is a charge for further afield.
Alternatively, if you prefer, I am happy for florists to come and pick their own order - we just tot up the amount once you're done.
